Internal Movement Arts Academy

Catharina´s journey towards martial arts and movement arts started when she was 17. While the desire to learn about the physical aspects of traditional martial arts was great, the curiosity to learn about its hidden internal aspects was even greater. Catharina´s thirst was deep and she wanted to walk the real path. This led her on a journey to find the answers she was looking for. Over many years Catharina lived in remote temples and schools in China to live and train with accomplished teachers through traditional fulltime training methods. She went directly to the source and learned there, because the water is always clearest directly at its spring. Even after her daughter was born she brought her to China with her to continue to live her passion and follow her vision. Building the connection between the energetic, soul and physical through movement and continuous practice is her drive and fulfilment. Today her deep interest lies in helping people access self refinement and reconnection through movement and internal work. Catharina´s path of learning and evolving continues to find new ways to bring this beautiful art to the hearts of people.
